WHEAT PORRIDGE
servings : 4 cooking time :20 mnts
INGRIDIENTS
- 1/2 CUP Broken wheat (dalia)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3 tsp rolled oats
- 11/2 cups milk
- 5 dates
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1 cup sliced bananas
Method
Clean ….wash and drain the broken wheat. Heat the olive oil in a pressure cooker and saute for 4 minutes ona low flame. Add oats ans saute them for a minute. Add milk, one cup water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Add the cinnamon powder and finely diced dates or 2 tsp honey. Garnish with chopped apples and sliced bananas.
This is a good recipie for weight watchers, pregnant women.
