MUSELI RECIPIE

Thats right we can make granola or museli at home itself. This  i guess most of you  may already know it …but those of you who like me are new to the knowledge chk it out. . …. kids will surely love this too.  I checked many granola recipies online but finally i liked this recipie from ‘raks kitchen’. Its simple and easy.

serves 6                                    cooking time :25 minutes
Ingridients :-

  • Oats – 1 cup
  • Cornflakes – 1/2 cup
  • Honey – 1/4 cup or u can use jaggery too
  • Dates.almonds.walnuts.pictachios – 1 cup
  • Butter – 2tsp (optional)

METHOD :-

Chop all the nuts and dry fruits roughy, keep aside.

In a sauce pan, dry roast oats, cornflakes, walnuts, almonds , dry fruits and nuts till golden brown or till a nice aroma comes. Keep aside.

 Now in the same pan, add butter let it melt then add honey and salt(a pinch for flavor and crispiness). Allow it to boil till bubbles are seen it may take 4-5mins. Now add the toasted oats, cornflakes nuts mixture. Mix well.

 Allow the honey butter mixture to coat the toasted oats, cornflakes nuts mixture. It may take 2-3 mins. Switch off and allow it to cool for few mins.

 Bake the mixture at 200 deg C for 5 mins to make it more crispy.(this step is optional to make it more crispy). Cool down and store it in an airtight container. Serve it with milk for breakfast.
