Creamy fruit chat recipie is a specially ramzan recipie at many iftiyar parties and get togethers. Its just fruit salad with the cream of your choice. It takes only minutes to prepare and is ready to serve but tastes delicious. What can go wrong with cream and fruit ?

It is recommended you break your fast with  fruits such as dates, fig (anjeer) or raisins or fresh fruits. So after fasting for an entire day, instead of a having a huge meal or a large amount of calories, a bowl of dates or fruit salad might work as an indirect form of sugar which is highly recommended by nutritionists. This would really help if you are more prone to acidity or flatulence while fasting.

serves 6

Ingredients :-

  • 2  apples
  • 2 mangoes
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 blood oranges,
  • handful of grapes
  • 2 peaches
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 2 cups low fat cream(chilled)

Quarter the oranges and remove the skin and pips. peel and core the apples and chop into small pieces. Wash and dry the grapes and remove from stalks. Skin and slice the bananas. Wash and peel the peaches and slice thinly. (Add in your choice of fruits ,you have at the moment). In a bowl mix together all the fruits along with sugar and cream. If its sweetened cream, sugar can be omitted. Mix well and chill for at least half an hour before serving.
