Wash and cut the cluster beans into 1 inch pieces. It will take nearly half an hour to cut the beans , but your patience is rewarded, when you taste the beans…..tangy and sweet. The flavours burst in your mouth. In south Indian this vegetable is easily available.

But, It’s a special occasion for us ,When its found in some Indian food market. If you want to know its taste and the nostalgic memories attached to it …..ask people who live outside Indian and dream of the yummy happy times spent on one’s birthland.  Coming back to the recipie.
Take a kadai, add 1 tsp olive oil and all the ingridents for tempering. After the garlic is browned add the cluster beans and close the lid. Stir for every 3….4 mints. After 10 minutes when the beans are almost cooked sprinkle chilli powder, salt and turmeric . Fry for a minute and switch off .
Serve it hot with rice or phulkas.
